Windows Copilot
Windows 11 Copilot is a new AI tool allowing users to be more productive, creative, and can give actionable recommendations.
To set up Windows Copilot:
Click the Windows button
Open Settings
Select Personalization
Select Taskbar
Find the Windows Copilot toggle switch and turn it on
Once Copilot is installed you can either click the icon on your taskbar or click Windows + C. Now simply type a question into the chat bar and get answers immediately! You can also click the Notebook feature in Copilot and ask Copilot to create an image or text for you. To access the Notebook in Copilot click the three eclipses in the top toolbar.
Types of Questions to Ask Copilot:
Information Questions- "Find me an article on..." "What does _____ mean?" "Give me more information about..."
How Do I Questions- "How do I schedule a meeting in Teams?" How do I organize my Outlook inbox?" "How do I put a table in Microsoft Word?"
Create Questions- "Write a paragraph explaining..." "Write an email to a colleague asking..." "Write an announcement about..."
Copilot is also installed automatically into Microsoft Edge.
Getting Copilot in Edge:
Launch Edge
Click the Copilot Icon in the top right corner
Questions to Ask Edge Copilot:
Summarize- "Summarize this article." "What are the three most important parts of this story?" "What do I need to know about this article?"
Find Me Questions- "Find me _____ for sale." "Find me an article on..." "Find me a website for..."
3CX on Mobile Device
Did you know 3CX has an app? With this app downloaded onto your phone, you can now make and accept calls from your office extension. Follow the steps below to download the mobile app.
Download the Mobile App:
Go to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store
Search 3CX app
Click and install
It will prompt you for a QR code
To get the QR code log into the 3CX web browser from your computer
Click on the QR code icon in the top right-hand corner
Scan the code using your 3CX app
You now should be able to make and receive calls on your smartphone! Please see the image below for more information on accessing the QR code.
