Training Tab
If you've been logging in and using Longbow One, one new feature you might have noticed is the Training tab on the left side panel. When clicked, this tab opens a page with both videos and guides on sections of Longbow. You can watch how to create a new case, work the dashboard, or use the top navigation toolbar. The videos are brief, at only 1-5 minutes long, and show you exactly where information is in Longbow. If you would prefer to read a guide on what you need, you can do that as well. Always be on the lookout for new tutorials or guides to help smooth your experience in Longbow! See the link to go directly to the Training Tab: https://longbowone-staging.azurewebsites.net/training
Longbow Insider Tips
Tip #1: Quick Add
The quick add button is probably one of the most used buttons on the top toolbar. It looks like a grey plus sign on the top of your screen. From there, you can make a new case, a new task, a new calendar event, a new contact, upload a file, or create a new document.
Tip #2: Email Button
Another top toolbar feature is the email button. Looking just like you'd expect, it is the grey envelope at the top. Once you click it, it will take you directly to your Outlook email, which is embedded right in Longbow!
Tip #3: AI Case Summary
Each case now has a summary that AI automatically updates when new information is added. The information in the summary is what is critical and needs to be known for each case.
Tip #4: Linking Calendar Items to Outlook
It is always helpful to receive notifications for calendar events in Longbow, but you can now link them to your Outlook calendar so you never miss an event! While editing a event, there is a button to sync to Outlook that will automatically put that calendar event in your Outlook calendar.
Tip #5: Pin Cases
Everyone loves when things are easy to use or find. This new Longbow feature makes finding your most worked on or important cases a breeze. On the left side panel, there is a section for pinned cases. This will pin whatever case you tell it to on the side panel so you can easily open that case without having to search for it. To pin a case, go into the case and at the top select pin!
Tip #6: Color Scheme
Longbow now comes in two colors! If you are a traditionalist and like the original orange, you can keep that look, but if you want something new and lighter, try Bootstrap. This is a cooler-toned appearance with some blues thrown in. To change the color, click the paint button at the top of the toolbar. You can also switch to dark mode or light mode using the paint bucket.
Tip #7: Search Bar
At the top of any Longbow page is the search bar. Using this, you can search for cases, contacts, or documents. Did you know that if you hit the slash key (/) it will click into the search bar for you to start typing immediately.
I hope you found these tips useful!
